Frequently
Asked Questions
Choosing a gym isn’t just about equipment or class times. It’s about finding a coaching system that fits your life.
Here are the questions we hear most often from people considering BPR.
0/1 GETTING STARTED
The practical stuff.
What does a BPR membership cost?
Memberships range from $300–400 per month following a comprehensive enrollment process.
Every member is paired with a dedicated coach and receives a personalized training plan built around their goals, schedule, and responsibilities. The focus isn’t just on workouts. It’s on building a system that fits your life.
What happens before I become a member?
Every new member begins with a comprehensive enrollment process that includes a strategy session, a 75-minute Total Health Assessment, an individualized health and fitness plan, and follow-up coaching. From there, you’ll transition into the membership that best fits your goals and the level of coaching you need.
What’s the difference between the Fitness and Capacity memberships?
Both memberships include individualized programming, unlimited group training, and ongoing coaching.
The Fitness Membership focuses primarily on strength, conditioning, and long-term fitness, with coach meetings every 60–90 days.
The Capacity Membership includes everything in Fitness plus more frequent coaching, deeper recovery integration, behavior design, and a more comprehensive approach to helping every part of your health work together.
Is BPR personal training or group training?
Both.
Every member has a dedicated coach who builds an individualized training plan, but most workouts take place in small-group sessions. You get the personalization of personal training with the accountability, energy, and community of group coaching.
0/2 FIT
Will this work for me?
Do I need to be in shape before I join?
No!
Most people don’t walk through our doors because they’re already healthy. They come because they don’t quite feel like themselves anymore. Every program begins at your current fitness level and progresses from there.
Is BPR a good fit for beginners?
Yes. Whether you’ve never stepped into a gym or you’re returning after years away from exercise, your program is built around your experience, current ability, and goals. You’ll never be expected to “keep up” with anyone else.
Who is BPR for?
BPR is built for adults who want a healthier body without making fitness their full-time job.
Many of our members are business owners, professionals, parents, healthcare workers, first responders, and former athletes looking for a coaching system that fits around work, family, and real responsibilities.
Who is BPR not for?
We’re probably not the right fit if you’re looking for the cheapest gym membership, a six-week transformation, or a coach who simply counts your reps.
We work best with adults looking to build lasting health through individualized coaching, sustainable training, and long-term consistency.
Do you only help people lose weight?
No.
Some members join to lose body fat. Others want to get stronger, improve conditioning, prepare for an event, recover from injury, increase energy, or simply feel better as they get older. Every coaching plan begins with your goals, not ours.
0/3 THE EXPERIENCE
How does training work?
Why do you start with a Total Health Assessment instead of a workout?
Because workouts are usually the easy part.
Before prescribing exercise, we want to understand the life your training is supposed to fit. We evaluate movement, strength, conditioning, nutrition, recovery, stress, and lifestyle so your coaching begins with understanding, not assumptions.
How often should I train?
That depends on your goals and your schedule. Some members train two or three days each week while others train more often. Together, we’ll recommend a schedule that’s realistic enough to sustain because consistency almost always produces better results than perfection.
Do I get my own coach?
Yes. Every member works with a dedicated coach who designs their program, monitors progress, and adjusts training as life changes. Coaching is one of the biggest differences between BPR and a traditional gym.
Do you offer nutrition coaching?
Yes. We integrate nutrition coaching into your Capacity coaching plan rather than treating it as a separate service. We focus on practical habits that improve body composition, energy, recovery, and long-term health without relying on restrictive meal plans.
What if I travel for work?
Your coaching doesn’t stop when you leave Dallas. Members receive remote access to their individualized training program, along with ongoing support from their coach, making it easy to stay consistent while traveling.
Can I train on my own schedule?
Yes. Members can access self-guided workouts in our facility while continuing to follow an individualized program designed by their coach. It’s a flexible option for weeks when your schedule doesn’t line up with group sessions.
Are community events included?
Yes. BPR regularly hosts community events and Misogi expeditions designed to challenge members outside the gym. These experiences build confidence, resilience, friendships, and a stronger sense of community while putting your training to meaningful use.
0/4 RESULTS & PHILOSOPHY
Why BPR?
How long does it take to see results?
Most members notice meaningful improvements within 6–12 weeks.
On average, members improve body composition and performance measures by more than 30%, while also reporting better energy, increased confidence, and improvements in cognitive well-being.
Why does BPR feel different from other gyms?
Most gyms start with a workout. We start with your life.
Before writing your program, we take time to understand your goals, schedule, recovery, responsibilities, and the obstacles keeping progress stuck. The result is a coaching system designed to continue working when life inevitably changes.
What makes BPR different?
Every member has a coach while still benefiting from group training accountability.
We view health as a system, not a set of separate problems to solve one at a time. Training, nutrition, recovery, behavior, and lifestyle all influence one another, so we coach them together instead of treating them independently.
Why do your members stay for years?
Because the system fits their life instead of asking them to build their life around the system.
The goal isn’t simply helping you lose weight or get stronger. It’s helping you build a healthier body that continues supporting your work, family, and responsibilities for years to come.
STILL THINKING IT THROUGH?
Good questions deserve a real conversation.
Answer a few questions, then book your 60-minute assessment. We’ll review your goals, assess how you move, test your body composition, and gather everything we need to build your custom training plan.
